Supply station

A supply station can be used wherever centralised systems supply power to machine tools. 

The supply station ensures that the purified cooling lubricant is delivered to your machine tool in the correct quantity and at a constant pressure. It therefore acts as the interface between the central system and the machine tool.

The supply station is divided into a clean and a soiled section. And is in signal transfer with the machine tool 

• The cooling lubricant flows at a controlled rate through the inlet/inflow pipe into the clean section of the supply station. The clean section itself is fitted with a level monitoring system. 
• The clean section contains one or more machine feed pumps which deliver the cooling lubricant directly to the machine tool at the required pressure as needed.
• Valves allow targeted supply to various processing operations. This allows the cooling lubricant to be used flexibly wherever it is needed.
• The clean section is connected to the soiled section via an overflow. If insufficient cooling lubricant is drawn off, it automatically flows into the soiled section and is returned to the central system. This also serves the technical purpose of preventing the cooling lubricant from heating up if it is not being removed.
• The soiled cooling lubricant also flows from the machine tool into the monitored soiled section and is conveyed to the connected central system 
• A limit switch for fill level (WHG) prevents a system overflow.
