The units produce cool water in an open or closed system, which can be used to supply downstream heat exchangers. HOFFMANN water coolers are characterised by their high energy efficiency and compact design. The water to be cooled is pumped into the evaporator. The evaporator is a brazed plate heat exchanger which extracts the heat from the water and releases it into the atmosphere via an air-cooled condenser. The water temperature can be adjusted with a control accuracy of ±1°C. HOFFMANN water coolers are suitable for ambient temperatures up to +40°C as standard.
